Short answer: Typeshutter reviews image and video prompts before sending them to generation providers. If the prompt passes review, Typeshutter submits your original prompt unchanged. If the review finds wording that may be unsafe or likely to be rejected, creation stops and the prompt field explains what to change before credits are spent or a generation job is created.
Steps
When you submit a generation, Typeshutter checks the prompt, selected model, output type, and whether references are attached.
If the prompt passes review, Typeshutter sends the original prompt exactly as you wrote it to the generation provider.
If the prompt needs revision, Typeshutter does not submit it automatically. The prompt field explains what to change and may show a Recommended prompt. Select Replace only if you want to copy the recommendation into the main prompt field, then review, edit, or submit the updated prompt yourself.
If the prompt cannot be made suitable without changing the core request, creation stops. No generation API request is sent and no credits are spent.
Users can still report media, comments, and profiles after content is created.
Reports enter a staff review queue.
Staff can dismiss reports, mark content under review, hide content, remove content for policy or legal reasons, or restore content.
Account-level actions can include warnings, strikes, temporary restrictions, suspensions, bans, or restoration.
Notes
Prompt review helps catch issues earlier, but generation providers may still reject a request after submission.
Reference images should be used for style, composition, or allowed edits. Avoid asking Typeshutter to copy a real person's face, body, or identity.
Context-specific attire such as sports uniforms, swimwear for swimming competitions, dance costumes, medical contexts, or beachwear can be allowed when the prompt is non-sexual, age-appropriate, and clearly described.
Avoid prompts involving sexual content, nudity, minors, non-consensual content, graphic violence, or instructions that try to bypass safety systems.
Reports do not automatically remove content.
Public visibility is allowed only for active or restored content that is otherwise public.
Moderation events are tracked for audit history.
Troubleshooting
If your prompt is blocked, follow the prompt field guidance, edit the wording yourself, and submit again. If a Recommended prompt appears, review it first. Select Replace to copy it into the main prompt field. The recommendation panel then disappears so you can edit or submit the updated prompt normally.
If you choose Edit prompt from a failed generation card, Typeshutter may show a Recommended prompt when a safer rewrite is available. Replace copies it into the prompt field; it is not submitted automatically.
If a provider still rejects a prompt after Typeshutter accepts it, simplify the prompt and clarify the subject, context, pose, and intent in neutral, non-sexual terms.
If a failed card says Reference media, the attached reference was blocked by content safety checks. Remove or replace the reference media and try again. Editing only the prompt may not resolve that error.
If your content is not visible, check whether it is private, deleted, still processing, or under moderation.
