Short answer: Profiles let others see your public media, collections, and creator identity on Typeshutter.
Steps
Open Account settings.
Create or edit your profile.
Add a profile name, username, bio, and profile picture.
Publish media or collections you want to show on the profile.
Notes
Choose a username that represents you clearly and follows account rules.
Usernames are not case-sensitive. Capitalization does not create a different username, so @AnnaMalygon and @annamalygon refer to the same profile. You cannot take a username that another profile already uses with different capitalization.
Typeshutter keeps the capitalization you choose for display, and profile links typed with different capitalization redirect to your profile.
You can change only the capitalization of your own username without losing it.
Public profiles only show media and collections that are public and visible.
You can link a saved Character to a profile so that Character is preselected in Create. The Character's private description and reference images are never published. See Create and Use Characters.
Deleting a profile removes its public media, collections, comments, and tag/search entries from public browsing.
Troubleshooting
If a username is unavailable, another profile may already use the same letters with different capitalization. Try another spelling or handle.
If a profile link shows Not found, that username does not exist. Capitalization does not cause a Not found page.
If your profile picture upload fails, use an image file and try again.
If a tag or search result from a deleted profile still appears briefly, refresh the page. Contact support with the tag name and profile username if it remains.
